Make-up artist who drowned with Junior Pope buried beside river as family couldn’t afford money for sacrifices In a deeply saddening turn of events, Abigail Frederick, identified as the makeup artist who tragically lost her life alongside actor Jnr Pope and fellow crew members in a boat accident on the Anam River, has been laid to rest. As per a Facebook user named Moses Ekor, Abigail was laid to rest at the riverbank, reportedly because her father lacked the funds required to perform the necessary rituals for her body to be transported back home to Akwa Ibom State. Expressing concern and disappointment, Moses Ekor labeled the riverbank burial as shameful. He expressed gratitude towards those who generously donated funds to facilitate the transportation of Abigail’s parents from Akwa Ibom to Asaba.
